At RC Truck & Auto we take our customers and their vehicles seriously, therefore we do not offer phone or email estimates without physically inspecting a vehicle. 

An estimate made without inspecting a vehicle (a "blind estimate") is by all means a "shot in the dark" and is usually not very accurate.  The blind estimate may be too high or too low.  Blind estimates are unfair to both our customers and us.  An example of this would be a doctor trying to determine a new patient's overall condition to decide on an appropriate and most effective treatment without ever seeing the new patient.  To further put it in perspective, imagine having a blind estimate on remodeling or fixing problems with your home, your medical needs, your finances, your insurance needs, etc..

So you can see why blind estimates are not an appropriate practice, and you should avoid them elsewhere as well.
